PIZZA WITH PURPOSE

Dojo Pizza is a social enterprise built on the belief that a great slice can build a greater future.

It was born from 80 tonnes of debris and a belief that our young people deserved a better deal. We took a derelict site—the old pensioners’ hut—and transformed it into a high-standard kitchen and training hub.

Every pizza is hand-stretched and stone-baked by local young people in our Slice of Hope training program, providing local young people with the skills, qualifications, and confidence to master their own futures.

When you eat with us, you’re eating with a community that refuses to leave anyone behind. This is pizza done properly, for a community that matters.

The Path to Mastery

Stone-Baked Craft

No conveyor belts. No shortcuts. We use authentic stone ovens for a superior artisan finish.

24-Hour Fermentation

We don't rush the rise. Our dough rests for 24 hours for a lighter, crispier crust.

Local Sourcing

From fresh toppings to local suppliers, we keep the wealth inside our borough.

Accredited Training

We provide accredited training and real-world hospitality skills to young people who’ve been overlooked.

Community hub

We reclaimed a lost space to create a safe, vibrant hub. A welcoming, industrial-style courtyard built for local people to gather and connect.

Mutual Prosperity

We call it Jita-Kyoei. Our success is the community's success. We prioritise local suppliers and local talent. When we support each other, the entire community wins.

80 Tonnes of grit

The massive physical task of hand-clearing the collapsed pensioners' hut and reclaiming the derelict land for the Lowton community.

2024

the transformation

We repurposed industrial shipping containers into a high-standard kitchen, proving that great things can be built from what others cast aside.

2025

the launch

Opening our doors as a symbol of sustainable innovation. A high-energy hub where stone-baked craft meets Lowton’s resilience.

2026

Our first black belts

Celebrating our first Slice of Hope trainees as they achieve their Level 2 Food Hygiene and transition into permanent employment.

2026

Building Futures, One slice at a Time

We don’t measure success in trophies; we measure our success by the impact we have on our community. In the transformation of our site, the quality of our pizza and the growth of our young people. Here is what we have achieved together so far.
